Taylor Swift appears in a rare new vacation photo shared by sports journalist Carissa Thompson. Travis Kelsey publicly responded to the post, subtly showing support for his fiancée. Thompson talked about her trip to Montana in July on her and Erin Andrews’ podcast.
Taylor Swift and her fiancé Travis Kelsey have been keeping their New Year’s celebrations off Instagram, but the singer made a rare appearance on the platform yesterday, courtesy of sports journalist Carissa Thompson’s year-end wrap-up post. Thompson posted a photo of himself, journalist Erin Andrews, and Swift on a snow tubing trip together. Kelce had a subtle reaction to the memorial, and liked the post.
Thompson and Andrews talked about taking a trip to Montana with the singer in early 2025 on a July episode of their podcast, “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa.” Thompson said Swift was “everything I ever hoped and dreamed she would be and more.”
Thompson added that Swift and Kelsey are “very happy and adorable and everything together, so when the opportunity came for us all to spend time together and go on vacation, we were overjoyed to spend time with them and just get to know what kind of person she is in general.”
That same month, Kelce shared photos from her trip on Instagram for the first time. After Thompson posted the post, Thompson and Andrew said they felt comfortable discussing the holidays on their podcast.

Thompson explained, “It was very important for Erin and I not to say anything because their lives are so public. It’s not because we don’t want to share anything with you guys, but it was important to us to let them dictate the narrative about what they do in their private lives.” He added of Swift: “She’s a dream and I adore her. I’m so happy they can make each other happy.”
Swift and Kelsey finally announced their engagement just a month later in late August. Swift’s last public appearance was at Kelce’s Christmas Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Earlier this week, Anna DeMar, the girlfriend of Kelce’s teammate Creed Humphrey, gave fans a rare glimpse of her downtime when she shared a photo of Swift attending the Chiefs’ holiday party with other WAG members.
