According to a Dec. 31 report from Us Weekly, Jennifer Aniston is showing a new level of openness in her relationship with Jim Curtis. “Jen is so confident in her relationship with Jim and what’s going on that she’s making it more public,” a source told the publication. Another source added: “They’re firmly in the ‘this feels different’ zone. No games, no hiding.”
According to Us Weekly, Aniston and the hypnotist secretly began dating earlier this year after being introduced by mutual friends. A first source explained that the relationship was a slow burn. “It’s always a slow burn in the beginning for Jen,” they said, adding that while she was cautious at first, Curtis’ “consistency” helped her open up.
A second source said, “Over time, they reveal new layers about each other,” highlighting how their bond has grown. The source added: “She’s finally safe enough to share without fear. Jen says this is who she is and she wouldn’t do it if she wasn’t sure. She’s tired of hiding her joy.”
In the spring, subtle signs of love began to appear. According to Us Weekly, Aniston shared a merry-go-round of photos in May, including one with Curtis’ book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide, and in June, she began regularly liking his Instagram posts, including a reel about finding love.
Since then, the couple’s bond seems to have grown even stronger. The two spent Thanksgiving with mutual friends and were even spotted having brunch in New York City’s West Village on November 29th. That same month, Aniston shared a note wishing Curtis a happy birthday and also featured him in an Instagram video promoting her hair care line, LolaVee.
On Dec. 25, the Friends star also shared a photo from their first Christmas together.
“He’s brought her so much happiness and security that she feels comfortable sharing that,” the first Us Weekly source told Us. “Things have evolved. They are very serious at this point.” They are also reportedly planning a vacation, possibly in Aspen, according to a second source.
Curtis also appeared alongside Aniston at industry events. He attended the fourth season premiere of The Morning Show in September and supported her at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event in November. A second source tells Us Weekly that Curtis is comfortable being in the public eye. “Jim’s entire career has been supported by his work with famous people, so he’s not fazed by the cameras or the gossip. He’s had fame, so it’s not a shock to him, but it doesn’t dictate his life either. He’s down to earth,” he said, adding that he and Aniston “don’t care about[the attention]they just laugh at each other.”
A source from Us Weekly also highlighted the couple’s shared interest in health. A first source said: “Jen has taken a very holistic approach to life for the past five years and that’s what brings them together. They’re both very interested in wellness, mindfulness and meditation.”
A second source added that Curtis is helping Aniston “find balance” and slow down from her normally hectic schedule. They also share a “weird sense of humor” and enjoy similar hobbies, including watching documentaries and caring for rescue dogs. “Friends say they are so connected that they eerily finish each other’s sentences,” the first source said.
According to Us Weekly, the couple has a bicoastal relationship, with Aniston in Los Angeles and Curtis in New York. Sources told the outlet that the two have overcome the challenges of distance by traveling back and forth together and spending long periods in each other’s cities. “They are family people who value connection over fancy nights out,” a second source said.
As for marriage, the first source said that while Aniston hasn’t ruled out marriage, “it’s not a priority for her.” They added: “She is loving this stage and is very happy.”
In a November 2025 interview with Elle Women in Hollywood, Aniston opened up about Curtis and the things she admires about him. “Hypnosis is one of the many things he does,” she said. “He’s such an extraordinary person and he’s helped so many people. He’s so special, so ordinary, so kind, and he wants to help people heal and get through trauma and stagnation and find clarity. It’s an amazing thing to dedicate your life to.”
