Rob and Michelle Reiner sent family holiday cards and bonuses to their loved ones before they were brutally murdered in their home.
On Monday, Neda Soderqvist, who worked as Michele’s trainer, shared a photo of a handwritten card she received in the mail.
“A card from Michelle and Rob Reiner arrived in the mail today!” Soderqvist captioned the post.
“Even from heaven, they make sure everyone receives their bonuses. What really touches my soul and heart is the card that Michele wrote me. One of the interesting things about her is that every time she sent me a bonus, I made her promise to use it for herself and not to give it to anyone else,” she added.
Afterward, Soderqvist said he would “keep $100” and donate the remainder of the bonus in Michele’s honor to one of “the most inspiring foundations I know you love.”
“Thank you for being my best friend on Ride or Die,” she added. “To the person who taught me self-respect and self-love, and I will continue to uphold your legacy forever and I vow to you that I will be here for your children.”
Michele wrote on the card, “Dear Neda, what can I say now after all these years! We love each other, we’re mad at each other, but we just move on!”
“And it always works out! I hope you have a wonderful holiday with a family that adores you, love you Michelle and Rob,” the late photographer added.
Michelle, 70, and her husband Rob, 78, were stabbed to death in their home in Brentwood, California, on December 14th.
The longtime couple, who married in 1989, died from “multiple sharp force injuries,” the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed earlier this month.
Michelle’s youngest son Nick Reiner, director of “This Is Spinal Tap,” has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The Being Charlie writer, 32, has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is said to have been left in an “unstable and dangerous state” due to the medication he was taking.
TMZ reported that Nick may plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
Recently, Rob and Michelle’s other two children, Jake Reiner and Romy Reiner, have gradually come into the public eye.
Page Six has obtained exclusive photos of the brothers putting on a united front while enjoying time together on the beach in Malibu, California.
Jake and Romy have reportedly been staying at a beach house in Malibu since their parents were murdered.
