The Queen of Christmas is looking to conquer Aspen again this season.
Mariah Carey doesn’t dress casually, even on a ski vacation. The pop star spent December showing off her best designer looks on the streets of Colorado. Page Six Style staff can’t help but praise her for her A+ outfit.
The “We Belong Together” hitmaker, 56, kicked off her annual trip on Dec. 16 wearing head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, pairing the French house’s leather-trimmed poncho coat ($8,486) with a wool-cashmere LV 3D monogram scarf ($871).
Her outing included stops at both a Gucci store and celebrity-favorite western wear shop Kemo Sabe, but this was just her opening act.
The next day, Carrie visited a Moncler store wearing a Fendi monogram minidress ($1,950) layered with Prada’s signature double wool and cashmere scarf ($695) and accessorized with Saint Laurent’s Diane logo suede knee boots ($2,290) and Phoebe Philo tortoiseshell bombe sunglasses ($750).
The mother of two stopped by Valentino on Dec. 18 wearing a white fur coat, stretch-knit jumpsuit, Christian Louboutin knee-high leather jane boots ($2,195), and Loewe x Pola Ibiza Mask sunglasses ($540).
Later, she revisited Kemosabe and Gucci, swapping her outerwear for a tobacco-colored FF poncho from Fendi ($2,350) and her accessories for themed cowboy boots and a matching hat.
Kemo Sabe’s customized toppers cost well into the four digits, and stars like Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos and Diplo have been spotted in its VIP bar this month.
For one visit on Dec. 22, Carey stepped out wearing a belted Valentino Garavani textured wool coat ($3,720) with a plush faux fur collar, and completed her neutral look with Gucci bombshell boots ($2,300), a beige cowboy hat, and a diamond tennis necklace.
On Dec. 26, the five-time Grammy winner went full cowgirl glam in an all-black ensemble that included a cropped fur jacket, leather pants, cowboy boots, and a matching hat.
A silver butterfly belt buckle, perhaps a nod to her iconic 1997 album Butterfly, added sparkle.
But she may have saved the best for last, as she stepped out of a Gucci store on Dec. 29 wearing a full look from the brand designed by Demna. A tiger-striped faux-fur La Bomba coat from the La Familia collection, cinched with a GG chain belt, worn over GG crystal-embroidered leggings ($4,980). Gucci oversized rectangular sunglasses ($770) completed the ensemble.
With Aspen behind him, Carey has even bigger stages ahead of him. She was recently announced as the first featured performer for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics on February 6th.
Clearly, we’re hooked.
