Karl Radke turns to books for inspiration.
“I like reading nonfiction, memoirs, autobiographies, health books, and self-help books,” the “Summer House” star, whose new book “Cake Eater” is on sale now, told Page Six.
A longtime bookworm, Radke said her love of reading was greatly influenced by her family.

“My grandfather, Karl Radke, loved books and continued reading into his 70s and 80s. My mother is also an avid reader, and we sometimes share books,” he says.
In her new memoir, the reality star candidly shares the ups and downs of her sobriety journey and the heartbreaking loss of her brother in 2020.
Read below for Radke’s six must-read books.

“One of the best reads out there, started as a commencement speech before it became a book. It’s all about how small actions can build discipline, create powerful daily habits, and help you achieve your goals.”

“One of the most important reads for me. Especially when I was in need of inspiration and a real ass-kicking during the lowest year ever in 2019-2020. David has cheered me up on my journey. The hardcover is great, but the best experience is the audiobook. Not only does the narrator do a great job, but he also interviews David between chapters, creating a truly unique listening experience.”

“Elise is a friend and a great talent, worthy of all the flowers. Her humor and vulnerability are so needed and I love how much she puts into her work. She truly cares, and this book makes me feel seen.”

“Therapists have therapists. Crazy concept, right? This book is incredible and has been such an important part of my journey. Also, Lori is an amazing person and has helped me so much with my book!”

“I got this book in 2010 and loved it, but I never got around to reading it completely. It’s one of those books you can go back to over and over again, it changes your way of thinking and teaches you core principles in life. It’s probably the best self-help book of all time.”

“I started following this IG account in 2019 for daily inspiration and philosophy. I’ve loved Ryan’s work ever since. It’s packed with powerful and inspiring wisdom to help us live happier lives and become our best selves.”
