Taylor Swift spent Christmas Day cheering on her fiancé, Travis Kelce, at a Kansas City Chiefs home game. But her holiday celebration with the team went beyond an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium. Anna DeMar, the girlfriend of Kelce’s teammate Creed Humphrey, shared an Instagram reel highlighting moments from her year, including a shot of the Chiefs player’s partner posing together at a holiday party. Swift appears discreetly in the back left corner alongside Snoopy.
DeMar spoke to People magazine in September about life as the girlfriend of a Chiefs player, revealing that Swift and Kelce even hosted a last-minute party on Monday night. “Then I have to go to the office the next day,” Demmer, who works as a social media strategist at Garmin, said with a laugh. “Of course we worked on it and it worked out, but it was really a whirlwind of an adventure trying to balance the priorities in life.”
She’s become close friends with some of the WAGs, and for the most part, everyone is nice, DeMar said: “We have a very welcoming community. I don’t know if it’s just the Midwestern vibe. I think there’s a lot of stereotypes, like girls acting mean, and the Chiefs don’t have any of that.”
The Chiefs will play their final regular season game on January 4th.
On Dec. 16, a source told Us Weekly about how much Kelce has changed Swift. “Taylor is visibly lighter and is smiling more,” the source said. “Travis gives her a fearless sense of playfulness and the confidence to occupy space unapologetically.” Their relationship has helped inspire her to “be softer and more vulnerable in front of the world.”
The couple, who announced their engagement in August, have begun planning their wedding together. “Taylor thinks it’s cute[Kelsey is involved]and it’s a bond between them,” another source said, adding that she didn’t want the celebration to feel elaborate or over-the-top.
