Miles Teller has officially won this Christmas.
A TikTok post shared by his wife Kelly revealed the sentimental gift Miles gave her over the holidays.
With a huge box in front of her and wearing a Santa hat, Kelly slowly pulled out an oversized garment bag and asked Miles behind the camera, “Is this my wedding dress?”
“Oh my god…” she added, unzipping her bag and slowly pulling out a long white dress.
As I held up her gown to get a better look, she began to cry. The dress was a beloved relic lost in California’s devastating wildfires about a year ago.
The two married on September 1, 2019, and moved to Pacific Palisades in 2023.
After the fire gutted her home, along with countless others, Kelly shared a blurry photo of her still-standing home on Instagram, writing, “💔I left in this car” as she evacuated.
Although it was not mentioned at the time, her wedding dress was also among the items lost in the fire. For Christmas, her husband, wedding dress designer Monique Lhuillier, recreated this sentimental outfit.
A few months ago, Kelly shared a throwback slideshow on social media celebrating the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary. “This year has shown us what we are made of,” she wrote, adding, “Today we learned that we can face anything, dance through every lightning strike, and find home in each other even when we get homesick for a place that no longer exists.”
At the time of this post, she had no idea that another sentimental reminder of her wedding day would be packed into a box on Christmas morning.
The gown is made from embroidered lace and features a sleeveless silhouette and plunging back. Once cinched at the waist, the skirt flared out all the way to the floor.
“I’m so happy. Merry Christmas everyone!” Keleigh wrote as she concluded her holiday unboxing video.
Few gifts are as sentimental as this one. Well done, Miles.
