Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are spending a “cozy” Christmas in California.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed in the As Ever newsletter how she celebrated the holidays with her husband and their children – Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
On Thursday, the “Suits” alum, 44, reflected on her “Christmas Eve feast” of dim sum with her family the night before.
She and Prince Harry, 41, then spent Wednesday night “wrapping some presents at the last minute and tiptoed down the stairs” to see if “Santa ate the cookies or the reindeer ate the carrots.”
The former actress wrote, “I would do anything to preserve the magic of Christmas morning through the eyes of my children.”
Markle said she planned to spend Christmas “snuggling” with Prince Harry and their young children.
She told her readers that the festivities include “all day long in pajamas, Scrabble and Sequence (Candyland for the kids), music playing, candles flickering, dogs snoring, endless grass eating, laughter, sidebars, deep breathing (you know it), fun, and memories.”
The “With Love, Meghan” star concluded, “Wherever you’re reading this note today, whether you’re lounging in your pajamas like the rest of us, dressed up until 9 p.m., at a large gathering, with your partner or kids, or alone, I want you to know that I’m wishing you a Merry Christmas and all the blessings that come with it.”
While Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry, Archie and Lilibet vacationed at their home in Montecito, California, the rest of the royal family held their customary celebration across the pond.
King Charles III, Prince William and other members of the royal family were all smiles as they greeted the crowd at a traditional church service at Sandringham on Thursday.
The disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was absent, but his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie attended.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have not attended a Christmas service at Sandringham since 2018.
