“Saturday Night Live” writer Jimmy Fowley is asking for help finding his missing sister, Christina Lynn Downer.
The comedian made an impassioned plea on Instagram on Monday, asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police in Los Angeles, where she was last seen.
“My sister is missing and I’m afraid she’s not safe,” Fowley wrote alongside a missing person flyer.
“Her married name is Downer, but she may be calling herself Christina Fowley. If anyone has seen her, please share this so they can give information to police. Her phone number is 213-996-1800 and her case number is 25237639. She was last seen in LA. Thank you,” he continued.
According to a missing persons report flyer, Downer was last heard from in November.
In addition to the poster, Fowley also posted several solo shots of her sister and snapshots of her and her family.
“SNL” stars Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman were among the celebrities who reposted Fowley’s desperate plea for help.
The stars were joined by a number of celebrities who flooded Fowley’s Instagram comments with words of support during this difficult time.
Hux’s Hannah Einbinder expressed her love with a few red heart emojis, while Happy Endings’ Casey Wilson added, “I’m so sorry for posting this now.”
Meanwhile, former Vanderpump Rules star Shayna Shay also said she would repost her missing persons report.
Fowley has been a writer for SNL since 2022. Last year, he co-wrote the skit for Domingo, which became a hot topic starring Marcelo Hernandez and Ariana Grande.
Prior to his work on “SNL,” he was a member of the improv and sketch comedy group “Groundlings.”
As for his acting credits, Fowley has appeared on shows such as “Search Party,” “The English Teacher,” and “2 Broke Girls.”
