Range Media Partners has optioned Jen Marie Wiggins’ 2024 novel The Good Bride through a partnership with Google’s 100 Zeros production division. This book is currently being produced for television. Station 26 is also a partner in this project.
The book’s official synopsis reads, “One year after a devastating hurricane, plans for a lavish wedding uncover the secrets of a struggling coastal town. As a carefully chosen weekend built on pomp and social media sophistication unravels, gunfire shatters rehearsals and the celebration spirals into a winding exploration of disrupted family ties, modern media, and the lies we tell the world.”
The Good Bride is Wiggins’ debut novel, published by Crooked Lane Books. Previously, Wiggins published an illustrated gift book, “Married AF: A Funny Wedding Guide for the Newlywed or Bride,” in 2022 via Sourcebooks. Her work has also been featured in Southern Coastal Weddings, Savannah Magazine, Literary Mama, and CrimeReads.
Wiggins will serve as executive producer for the television version of “The Good Bride.” Justin Levy of Station26. Rachel Douglas on the Range. Penny Lin from Range and 100 Zeros. Fred Berger. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones. and Natalie Burkart.

The film deal for The Good Bride was brokered by Untitled Entertainment, Lyons and Salky Rowe, and Ashley Lopez through Waxman Literary Books.
