RFK Jr. has Diplo earworms.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took some time off from dealing with the medical system to go clubbing before the holidays.
The Secretary of Health and Human Services was spotted with his family attending producer and DJ Diplo’s after-ski concert at the St. Regis Snow Lodge in Aspen, Colorado, on Saturday, according to sources.
Sources say the former presidential candidate, 71, and Diplo, 47, are close friends.
One spy said he saw RFK Jr., wearing ski pants and a sweater, surrounded by federal marshals who were “in plain clothes and completely unrecognizable.”
“He stayed for about 30 minutes,” the source added.
“He was watching the concert, but he wasn’t dancing. He was taking selfies with people.”
I heard that while RFK Jr. was standing in the audience, his daughter Kyla Kennedy, 30, was seen up close on stage.
“Kayla came down and said goodbye to him before leaving,” the spy said, adding that Kayla remained throughout the party.
Santigold made a surprise appearance during the set, and attendees included Olympic snowboarding great Shaun White (recently single after splitting from Nina Dobrev), Christie Brinkley’s model daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook, makeup artist Patrick Ta, and influencer Tinx.
Despite the death of RFK Jr.’s younger brother Michael at age 39 in a New Year’s Eve ski accident in 1997, the Kennedy family remained regulars at the upscale Colorado ski town during their vacations.
RFK Jr.’s son Connor, 31, who previously dated Taylor Swift, was spared prison time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges after a bar fight in Aspen during the 2016 holiday.
(Connor claimed that the other man hurled homophobic insults at his friend, so he ended up having to pay a $500 fine and write a letter of apology to the victim.)
