Will Miley Cyrus’ soft launch be a major milestone in her relationship with boyfriend Max Morand?
The 33-year-old singer appeared to be wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger as she attended the Avatar: Fire & Ash world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, December 1st. The gem was visible as she affectionately placed her hand on 27-year-old Morando’s chest while posing for photos on the red carpet.
According to Du Moi newspaper, Cyrus, who was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth, was first seen wearing the ring set on a gold band around mid-November.
Both she and Morando wore black for the film’s premiere. The “End of the World” hitmaker wore a figure-hugging, strapless sequin dress with a ruffled skirt and train, and accessorized her left index finger with an additional diamond ring and a sparkling necklace.

Cyrus, who sings “Dream As One” on the film’s soundtrack, opted for smoky eye makeup and curled her hair, while Morand looked sophisticated in a black suit, crisp white shirt, and classic dress shoes.
She and the drummer apparently went public with their romance in April 2022, but their relationship was first reported four months earlier when they were spotted getting close backstage at NBC’s Miley’s New Year’s Eve party.
Cyrus previously told British Vogue how the two met, saying, “We ended up going on a blind date.”
“Well, it was blindsided for me, but not for him,” she clarified to the media. “I thought, ‘The worst thing that can happen is that I leave.'”

Elsewhere in the interview, the “Flowers” singer talked about using Erykah Badu’s “Tyrone” as her special ringtone when Morando calls her.
“I call it ‘boyfriend sexy ringtone,'” she said.
Cyrus’ appearance with a sparkler on her ring finger comes just over a week after she penned a thoughtful post in honor of her 33rd birthday on November 23rd.
“33 years old is already shining brightly thanks to everyone’s warm birthday wishes,” she wrote on Instagram. “All I want this year is to laugh more with the people who give me the smile lines that are slowly starting to appear. 🤍I love you all.”
