Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are proud co-parents of three children.
The former couple welcomed their first child, Camden, in 2012 and married the following year. Jackson joined the family in 2014, and Cavallari and Cutler announced the birth of their third child, Saylor, in 2015.
The Unusual James founder and the former NFL player divorced in April 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage and 10 years of dating.
When it comes to co-parenting, they’re both talking about how to make it work. “That’s a good thing,” Cutler told E! News for June 2021. “We’ve done a good job of putting them first,” the mother of three said in an interview with Grazia Magazine that same year, adding that she was inspired by her own parents’ divorce.
“No matter how angry you are with your ex-spouse, never involve your children in it. One of the things my mother did for me was never speak ill of my father,” Cavallari said. “Now that I’m older, I really respect that. I always want my kids to see Jay and I as a united front. He’s their father. That’s important and they need to understand that from me.”

In October 2024, Cavallari shared an update on her custody status on her podcast “Let’s Be Honest.”
“I don’t know how much time I have for dates,” she told listeners. “When we were dating last fall, I still had split custody with my ex and took every other week off with the kids, but things have changed.”
Later that month, Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, and is currently charged with driving under the influence and possession of a handgun while intoxicated.
From welcoming the little ones to the family’s sweetest moments over the years, here’s everything you need to know about Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari’s three children.
Camden Jack, 13 years old

Cavallari and Cutler became parents on August 8, 2012, and welcomed their first son, Camden Jack.
“Excited to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world,” the new mother (now known as X) posted on Twitter. “He was born this morning weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces. He’s doing great!”
Cavallari later said Cutler was able to have a front row seat to watch Camden’s birth, even though she wanted to be there.
“I was like, ‘You’re behind me. I can’t see anything,'” she told E!’s Giuliana Rancic in 2013. But the nurses had other plans, Cavallari added. “At that point, I’m like, ‘Whatever,’ and he grabbed my leg and watched everything,” she said.
Just like his mother, who stole scenes from reality shows, Camden developed quite a personality as he grew up. In December 2022, Cavallari shared a cute video of her and Camden cooking pasta bolognese from the True Comfort cookbook.
“This kid is killing me,” she captioned a video of Camden wiggling while stirring a pot in front of the stove.
Last October, Cavallari revealed that Camden’s white sneakers to wear to school were stolen. “So I definitely never thought Camden would be the first kid to steal shoes from me, but here we are,” she wrote on a snap of her eldest son showing off his kicks.
On his 11th birthday in August 2023, Cavallari spoke further about his eldest son’s personality. “Watching you grow into the most amazing young man has been such an incredible gift. You are pure love and light and I am grateful for you every day,” she wrote on Instagram.
Jackson Wyatt, 11 years old

Cavallari and Cutler welcomed their second son, Jackson Wyatt, on May 7, 2014, nearly two years after Camden’s arrival.
“Welcome Jackson Wyatt Cutler, 7 lbs, 11 oz, May 7, 2014,” the new mom wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of a hospital bracelet and baby boots.
“I know exactly what’s going to happen the second time and I’m just ready,” Cavallari told PEOPLE before giving birth. “This is like, ‘Let’s get him out of here, I want to see him, I just want to hold him and see how he’s doing.'” More than anything, I’m really excited. ”
Although Cavallari and Cutler separated when Jackson was young, the former couple has been dedicated to spending as much time as possible with their children. A year after their split, the Very Cavallari star revealed that she is taking her kids out one at a time during their “off weeks” when they are with their dad to build some quality bonding. On one date, Jackson dressed to impress.
Cavallari wrote on Instagram in April 2021, “I’ve been taking one kid at a time on a date night during my holiday week and last night it was Jackson’s turn.” “This kid is killing me. He was dressed in a suit, bow tie, and dress shoes and was the best little date I could ask for. He made me laugh the whole time. I’m grateful to have that one-on-one time with the babies.”
Jackson is also curious about her mother’s dating life, as she documented on Instagram in June 2022. “I take dating advice from my sons,” Cavallari said in the video, hiding their faces with emojis. “Jackson just said you need to date someone older.” When she asked him why, he replied, “Young people are crazy.”
In May 2024, Cavallari posted a nostalgic photo of Jackson’s 10th birthday on her Instagram Stories, showing her son kissing his mother as a toddler.
“Happy birthday to my calf, Jaxie!” she wrote. “I love you to the moon, my love.”
Saylor James, 10 years old

Cavallari and Cutler welcomed their third child, daughter Saylor James, on November 23, 2015.
“She’s trying to steal Jay’s heart, and now she’s going to melt mine!” the reality star told American Baby magazine in 2015. “I’m really looking forward to seeing the boys grow up with their sisters. I think it will help them understand and respect women better.”
In February 2021, the mother-of-three shared a sweet snap of herself cooking with her daughter and reflected on her special alone time. “Saylor leaves school an hour before the boys so we always have girl time,” she captioned the photo. “I’m soaking in this situation because it’s my baby’s last few months before he starts kindergarten. Today I’m eating chocolate chip cookies with my best friend.”
Saylor and Cavallari celebrated another mother-daughter milestone in April 2022, when Saylor got her ears pierced. Cavallari shared the big news on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of her youngest child’s new diamond studs and writing that she was a “champion” in the process.
On Saylor’s eighth birthday, Cavallari revealed that despite being the youngest, her daughter has been able to connect well with her siblings.
In November 2023, she wrote on Instagram: “You have the ability to raise and care for everyone you love, while also taking care of yourself (especially your brothers).” “You are my favorite girl to share my life with. I’m so lucky to be your mom.”
