Keith Urban’s fans claim he was hinting about divorcing Nicole Kidman weeks before the news broke.
Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on September 30th, but Dale Whiteside, one of Kidman’s biggest fans, said Urban hinted at divorce on September 15th while in Saskatoon, Canada for his High and Alive World Tour.
Whiteside, who bears a strong resemblance to the “Let It Roll” hitmaker, told TMZ that he met with Urban in person to discuss how similar they were.
Whiteside revealed that he told Urban that a couple mistook him for a singer at a music festival. However, they realized their mistake when they saw Whiteside was not wearing a wedding ring.
The fan claimed to have told Urban that two ways to tell them apart were their wedding rings and the country music star’s many tattoos.
Later, after posing for a photo together, Whiteside claimed that Urban said, “Next time it’ll probably just be tattoos.”
Whiteside said she didn’t know what Urban meant until reports of Kidman, 58, and Urban splitting up came out two weeks later.
A representative for Urban did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Page Six confirmed Urban’s relationship with Moulin Rouge on September 29th! The actress separated after 19 years of marriage.
“Sometimes relationships just pass on their own,” a source told Page Six at the time, adding that Kidman “didn’t want to separate and was trying to salvage things.”
However, the “Big Little Lies” star filed for divorce the next day, citing common “irreconcilable differences.”
She also included plans to raise her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
The Oscar-winning actress and the 58-year-old singer had been living apart “since the beginning of the summer,” multiple sources claimed to TMZ at the time.
