Concerns have been raised for Kanye West’s safety after he expressed regret about his “life” in a bizarre TikTok interview.
According to footage posted on Thursday, Ye made the worrying comments while speaking with fashion blogger Mystery Fashionist in Tokyo.
“Who am I here with? And where are you from?” the excited content creator asked the rapper, to which the rapper nervously replied, “I’m Ye, from Chi,” referring to his hometown of Chicago.
The interviewer then asked the “Flashing Lights” artist, 48, to rate the outfit.
“Yeah, that’s always a 10 out of 10,” he said, awkwardly covering his face with his hands.
He pointed to the Yeezy boots and explained that the rest of the outfit was by Gosha Rubchinsky.
West took things to an even darker level when asked about the “fashion trends” he “regrets” participating in.
After thinking for a moment, West answered with a gloomy expression, “Life.”
After this unpleasant exchange, fans rushed to the comments section to express their concerns for the Yeezy designer.
“He looks so sad,” one person commented on the post, which has been viewed more than 4.3 million times.
“He looked so sad and I wanted to give him a hug,” a second person agreed.
“Looks like he’s done crying trying to hold on 😢,” the TikToker wrote.
A third supporter said: “Poor 🥺,” while another added: “He’s not feeling well.”
West has spent most of his time in Japan in recent years following his devastating fall from grace.
The hip-hop star was dropped by multiple brands including Adidas, Balenciaga and Gap in 2022 after several anti-Semitic outbursts.
Although he apologized for his hateful comments a year later, he doubled down on his hatred of Jews with several subsequent rants.
Earlier this year, he professed his love for Nazis and Adolf Hitler, and even promoted a swastika T-shirt during a 2024 Super Bowl commercial.
In May, West told X that anti-Semitism was “over” and again asked for forgiveness.
“I love everyone,” he claimed at the time.
West has four children, North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, whom he was married to from 2014 to 2022.
The All’s Fair star, 45, claimed in an interview last year that she had essentially raised her children single-handedly. Last month, she said West hadn’t called his children in months.
West married Bianca Sensori in December 2022.
