Jen Shah is scheduled to return home from prison during the holidays.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum will be released early from a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, on Dec. 10, People reported Friday.
The Bravolebrities, who have been in prison since February 2023, consider the timing a “gift not to be taken for granted,” according to manager Chris Giovanni.
“Everyone is very grateful for the[Federal Bureau of Prisons’]decision, especially because it means Jen will be able to reunite with her family over the holidays,” he told the outlet.
Giovanni went on to say that Shah’s mental state was “very positive” and “full of hope.”
“She did a lot of reflection and real growth over the holidays, but she’s really not the same woman she was before. Her focus is on her family and building a healthier, more grounded life.”
Giovanni concluded, “She understands the gravity of the mistake she made, so she’s excited to put this chapter behind her and show everyone the woman she’s worked hard to become.”
Representatives for Mr. Shah did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for further comment.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told PEOPLE, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement or specific release plans for incarcerated individuals.”
Shah was arrested and indicted in March 2021 on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in connection with a nationwide telemarketing scheme.
There was no trial as the reality star pleaded guilty to the first charge in July 2022 after initially pleading not guilty to both charges the previous year.
In January 2023, she was sentenced to six and a half years in prison, and ordered to forfeit $6.5 million in assets and pay the same amount of restitution to her victims.
Her sentence was reduced by one year and eight months in March 2023 and October 2024, respectively, and twice more earlier this year in January and August.
Shah’s last scheduled release date was August 30, 2026.
It is still unclear whether she will return home or stay in an isolation facility upon her release.
Notably, Shah remains on good terms with her husband, Sharif Shah, whom she married in August 1994, and they have adult sons Sharif Jr. and Omar.
She wished her partner Valentine’s Day and birthday on Instagram in February, writing, “Even though we are miles apart, my love and gratitude for you is stronger than ever.”
When the duo celebrated their 31st anniversary in the summer, Shah exclaimed, “You have brought so much joy to my life, and I am forever grateful for your overwhelming love and support as we approach our next chapter.”
