Erewhon’s wildly popular strawberry glaze smoothie is no longer named after Hailey Bieber.
In late October, the chain “quietly removed” Bieber’s name from expensive smoothies made with collagen and other skin-boosting ingredients, according to the LA Times. Previously called Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, the drink is now simply called Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, according to Erewhon’s website.
People have also confirmed that Bieber’s name has been removed from signage inside the store, as happened at the Erewhon store in Pasadena on Nov. 14.
The change is reportedly only a matter of Bieber’s expiring contract with Erewhon. An employee at the California-based chain told TMZ that Bieber’s agreement with the grocer was “a natural progression.”
Bieber has not publicly addressed the change. PEOPLE has reached out to Errejon for comment.
First released in 2022, the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie debuted alongside Bieber-founded skincare brand Lorde. It has since gained a cult following thanks to its skin-friendly ingredients like collagen peptides and sea moss gel, as well as its connections with influencers and moguls.

This smoothie also includes strawberries, coconut cream, almond milk, banana, dates, avocado, and maple syrup.
In 2024, Bieber teamed up with the brand Coconut Bliss to launch a vegan ice cream that tastes “just like” a smoothie.
Bieber was the first of many celebrities to make their own smoothies in Erewhon. She is joined by Bella Hadid, Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, and influencer Nala Smith.

R&B icon Erykah Badu also recently developed a smoothie for grocery stores. This super-healthy drink, called Mama’s Bang Bang, is made with organic coconut milk, ashwagandha, lion’s mane, mango, pineapple, spirulina, and hemp seeds.
