The striking ensemble featured a daring plunging neckline and a statement gold belt cinched below the waist. She completed her look with gold strappy heels.
In a cover story interview with ELLE, Taylor spoke about what it means to be a black woman in Hollywood today. “Well, the hardest thing is being a woman in Hollywood,” she said. “What’s even more difficult is being a Black woman in Hollywood, because I feel like it’s a man’s world, and in order to be respected in that space, we have to show who we are as women.”
“I do see a change happening. I see more light being shined on women. I think it’s because we’re breaking through the door, unapologetically pushing through the door. We don’t give anyone a choice. You’ll see us, you’ll hear us. And if you don’t, we… It was amazing to see women stepping into our glory and standing 10 toes down in red bottoms. We’re really stepping up, and that’s what I love about being a woman in Hollywood. ”
