Andy Cohen denied rumors that season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York City would feature a hybrid cast.

“It’s not true,” Cohen told host Jeff Lewis when asked about the rumors Friday during the “Ask Andy” BravoCon panel in Las Vegas.

But he hinted that answers are near for the popular series. “New York is coming,” he told the audience. “It’s almost here.”

He also told Us Weekly on the red carpet to “stay tuned” for further details on the Bravo series.

Bravo has yet to officially announce its casting plans for season 16, but fan site @BravoandCocktails reported last week that original cast members Sonya Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, and Luann de Lesseps will be teaming up with reboot stars Erin Ritchie, Cy de Silva, and Jessel Turnk for the upcoming season.

According to reports, two new cast members will also be added.

Season 15 ended in February, starring Turnk, Lissy, and de Silva, as well as Raquel Chevremont, Rebecca Minkoff, Uba Hassan, Bryn Whitfield, and Jenna Lyons.

Fans of the Bravo series have been waiting for the announcement ever since.

Last month, De Silva told the show that “there’s always going to be a show,” adding: “I would love to come back.”

“So being on The Real Housewives of New York is such a pivotal moment in my life that I was asked to be on it, so it’s symbolic and I’m a New Yorker, so I would love to represent it.”

In footage from BravoCon, one viewer lamented the loss of the original Real Housewives of New York cast and expressed dissatisfaction with the new season.

“The original New York had 13 great seasons,” Cohen responded. “Half of them moved to Florida, and we will continue to do business with them.”

The Watch What Happens Live host added: “We always want to work with them. You know what? 13 years of great series and we’re glad it happened.”
