“It’s Florida, dude.” Season 2 release date set

Season 2 of HBO’s “It’s Florida, Man.” will debut on HBO on November 28th and will be available to stream on HBO Max. The six-episode season will be released weekly.

“It’s Florida, dude.” With candid accounts of daily life in Florida, playfully recreated by a rotating cast of actors and comedians, this hilarious and irreverent series shines a light on the viral, the quirky, and the weird.

Season 2 cast members include Adam Devine, Eddie Patterson, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Nick Swardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Holmes, David Koechner, Joel Kim Booster, Chet Hanks, Milan Carter, Nick Thune, Swoosie Kurtz, Johnny Pemberton, and Ryan. Milvis, Brian Sacca, Ping Wu, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Frankie Quiñones, Hussie Harrison, Joseph Ruud, Michael McDonald.

PBS will broadcast a special program, “American Heart in World War I: A Carnegie Hall Memorial,” to commemorate Veterans Day on November 11th.

“The American Heart in World War I: A Carnegie Hall Tribute” will be streamed simultaneously with broadcast and available on the PBS website and app.

Filmed at Carnegie Hall in April, the documentary features St. Luke’s 60-piece orchestra with performances by Adam Chanler Berrat (Next to Normal), Nicholas Christopher (Hamilton, Chess), Michaela Diamond (Parade), Gracie McGraw (BABE) and Diego Andres Rodriguez (Sunset Boulevard, Evita). The music was directed by supervisor and arranger Ian Weinberger (Hamilton, Chess).

“The American Heart in World War I: A Carnegie Hall Tribute” features dozens of songs from the early 20th century, accompanied by rare archival footage of American soldiers, World War I figures, historic flags and more.

Inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, the musical takes audiences through the wartime experiences of fictional veterans Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway, as well as five real-life characters during the war.

Nickelodeon will launch a new unscripted series, “Play It Forward: Game On,” on November 19, with WNBA champion Renee Montgomery as host and executive producer.

The six-episode series follows Montgomery, Kel Mitchell, and YouTuber Jesser as they go undercover to work with local coaches and parents to complete the rebuilding of an underfunded youth sports team.

The team, led by Kristen Garmy, youth specialist and director of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation, will receive new uniforms, training equipment, game gear and field upgrades.

“Play It Forward: Game On” features several youth sports teams and organizations. These include the Blaze Sports Wheelchair Basketball Team, Sports Club Soccer Academy, Lady Vikings Youth Volleyball Team, Atlanta Metro Leadership Sports Academy, Roselle Fun Youth Football, and the Henry County Boys Lacrosse Program.

After the series launch, “Play It Forward: Game On” will continue to air regularly on Wednesdays on Nickelodeon.

The series is executive produced by Jason Berger, Amy Laslett and Mark Marraccini for Kids at Play. Rebecca Covington, Mark Rooks, and Frank Igrek of Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios. And Kevin Healy.

Asian American dating site Yuzu has partnered with hospitality group Chubby Group to launch “Cuffing Season,” a holiday-themed sitcom series about Gen Z dating. The show, which premiered on November 4, was distributed on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

The episodes are as follows. “Meet Cute” (premiering Nov. 4), “Friendsgiving, But Make It Extra” (Nov. 25) and “Holidays with the Little Red Box” (December). The cast includes Nina Huynh (Jas), Eric Luminarias (Vic), James Bee (Ming), Allison Jiang (Eva), Candice Liang (DJ), and Cindy Lim (Sam).

“This campaign is a love letter to how our community dates, dines and celebrates together,” said Cindy Lim, Yuzu’s head of brand. “Cuffing Season is about finding the warmth of connection. Our partnership with Chubby Group makes that tangible, from sitcom storylines on screen to shared meals that bring people together in real life.”

Ahead of the Season 3 premiere of “Power Book IV: Force,” PopViewers and STARZ hosted a “Vibes and Views” screening in New York City on November 5 to celebrate the series’ final season.

PopViewers’ “Vibes & Views” is an ongoing series that spotlights film and television through the lens of community, conversation, and connection. Past events have included screenings and discussions with stars such as Dope Thief’s Brian Tyree Henry, BMF’s Russell Hornsby and Raising Canaan’s Patina Miller.

Popviewer screened the first episode of season 3 of “Power Book IV: The Force.” Hosted by Popviewers founder and CEO Chris Witherspoon, it was followed by a conversation with series star Joseph Sikora.

Following the Q&A, rapper and actor Dave East performed several unreleased songs from his new album Karma 4. Poet and author Maui the Writer performed a live set to the event’s soundtrack, curated by DJ Lisa Nwoyi.

The final season of “Power Book IV: Force” airs Fridays on STARZ.

In partnership with Ford Motor Company, the documentary “Call to Serve” will be streamed on ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu on Veterans Day, November 11th.

According to the official synopsis, “Call to Serve” follows “Dean Wagner, a former Army combat engineer. Trapped by survivor’s guilt, he becomes emotionally closed off and loses his sense of who he is outside of his uniform.” However, when Hurricane Helen ravages the Southeast… When he is killed, Dean volunteers with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster response team. Amidst the wreckage, along with his wife and a healing community of veterans, he begins to rebuild what the war has erased: a sense of purpose, a sense of purpose and a way home.”

Following its debut at the 2025 Tribeca X Festival, “Call to Serve” has been expanded with exclusive footage and interviews.
