Newcomer Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan, best known on TV screens for the comedy Philomena Cinq, have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of the upcoming Disney+ series Vision Quest.
The show, which is being described as the third installment in a trilogy that includes WandaVision and Agatha All Along, will see Paul Bettany reprise his role as super-powered android Vision alongside James Spader, Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and James D’Arcy.
According to Variety, Morais plays Lisa Molinari, who has a close relationship with Molica’s Thomas Shepard, while Morgan plays a companion to Stashwick’s character, Paladin.
“Vision Quest” is the biggest role to date for young Welsh actress Morais, whose TV credits include “Madtown,” “The Red King” and “The Crow Girl.” Morgan, on the other hand, is known for the hit BBC comedy ‘Motherland’ and Netflix’s dark comic ‘Afterlife’, alongside her long-running character Kank. Ironically, she will play an android herself in the upcoming BBC comedy series An Droid, co-created with Sarah Kendall.
The eight-episode Terry Matalas-produced Vision Quest (part of Phase 6 of the MCU) was filmed at Pinewood Studios in the UK earlier this year and is scheduled to debut on Disney+ in late 2026.
A trailer released exclusively at New York Comic Con last month showed Bettany in White Vision at the end of WandaVision, as well as a normal human version. There was also the human version of Ultron, voiced by James Spader in the second “Avengers” movie, and the AI programs Jarvis, Friday, and Edith. At the end of the trailer, we see a brief glimpse of Tommy, Vision, and Wanda’s son, who appeared as a child in WandaVision, as an adult.
Mr Moret is represented by Rachel Chambers of JAG. Mr. Morgan is represented by United Agents.
