Vanessa Lachey and Nick Lachey are celebrating each other!
The couple celebrated their shared birthday on Sunday, November 9, making the NCIS: Hawaii actress 45 and the 98 Degrees member 52.
To commemorate the occasion, Vanessa posted a throwback photo on Instagram from the couple’s first birthday together in 2006. In the photo, she and Nick are seen cuddling at a table in a restaurant.
“We celebrated 20 birthdays together. November 9, 2006 was our first,” she wrote in the caption. “I love celebrating and sharing birthdays and life with this man! Here’s to more of your crazy and beautiful journeys around the sun! ♥️☀️Happy Birthday, my love! 👩🏽❤️💋👨🏼”
Nick celebrated the couple’s birthday with a touching post of his own on Instagram. Alongside a photo of the two leaning in for a kiss, she wrote: “Now we officially celebrate 20 years in a row of another orbit around the sun with you!! Truly, it’s so special every time we wake up in the morning and whisper happy birthday to each other.”
She added, “Let’s see many more together! Happy Birthday @vanessalachey. I love you with all my heart.”
The pair first met on the set of MTV’s Total Request Live, where Vanessa (real name Vanessa Minnillo) hosted and Nick appeared regularly with his band.
After his breakup with Jessica Simpson, Nick began dating Vanessa in 2006, got engaged in 2010, and married a year later.

Nick and Vanessa are the parents of three children, sons Camden and Phoenix, and daughter Brooklyn.
The two currently co-host Love is Blind on Netflix.

While discussing his work on the hit reality series last month, Nick told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that he’s glad he and Vanessa started their romance before modern dating.

“I’m so glad we met before the dating apps because I never had the chance,” he said. “This is not just lip service. I really, truly believe that we were meant to end up dating, because that’s largely how our relationship started. There were a lot of very long phone conversations in 2006 and questions like, ‘Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What are your dreams? What do you want out of your life? What do you want in a relationship?'”
Vanessa added that they also had “the same sense of humor,” and Nick agreed, saying, “I think we were drawn to each other.”
“I mean, look, obviously I knew she was gorgeous. I’m not going to pretend I didn’t know what she looked like, but I think we would have found each other in the pod because our hearts are meant to be together. It would have worked,” he added.
