David Harbor and Millie Bobby Brown reunited at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, after news of their strained relationship made headlines earlier this week.
Brown, 21, wore a clear lace column dress with an off-the-shoulder design with feathers and surprisingly posed arm-in-arm with her co-stars.
She accessorized with bejeweled chandelier earrings and a giant ring, and styled her auburn hair into an elaborate updo.
Harbor, 50, flashed a smile as he posed for photographers at the highly anticipated event, sporting a black pinstriped suit and matching tie.
At one point, Harbor gave photographers a mean look as Brown was seen smiling heartily.
Brown plays the main character Eleven in the hit Netflix series, while Harbor plays her father, police chief Jim Hopper Jr.
Ms. Harbor and Ms. Brown have not commented on a recent Daily Mail report alleging that the actress filed a bullying and harassment complaint against her prior to filming the final season of Stranger Things.
“Millie Bobby Brown came forward with allegations of harassment and bullying before filming began last season,” a source told the outlet earlier this week. “There were pages of accusations. The investigation continued for months.”
Harbor reportedly underwent an internal investigation into Brown’s claims, but the outcome of the investigation is unclear. Brown also reportedly filmed the series finale with a personal representative on set.
The “Hellboy” star is said to not be accused of sexual misconduct in the complaint.
Brown alluded to the strained relationship with Harbor in a resurfaced MTV interview last year in which she spoke about her then-planned wedding to Jake Bon Jovi.
When an interviewer joked that the wedding should be a Stranger Things theme, with Harbor officiating, Brown narrowed his eyes and reluctantly said, “Yes.”
“I don’t know how I feel about it, of course,” she said, awkwardly agreeing.
She went on to pitch the role to her Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine, and the 66-year-old actor actually hosted her and Bon Jovi’s May 2024 ceremony.
Harbor has also been in the news recently for his divorce from his estranged wife Lily Allen. In her new album West End Girl, she hinted that the actor was a “sex addict” who broke the rules of open marriage.
In an interview with British Esquire published earlier this month, the actor reflected on his life since turning 50, including the “mistakes” he’s made.
He said that given a choice, “you either change everything or you don’t change anything.”
“You either fully embrace your path, or you realize that even the pain, failures, and mistakes are all part of the journey, and that in it all there is truth, growth, wisdom, and deeper empathy and connection,” he told the outlet.
