Benji Madden can’t help but expose his 5-year-old daughter to all genres of music.
The Good Charlotte member recently appeared alongside his brother Joel Madden on Truck Star, a popular TikTok series that tests listeners’ musical knowledge, and named some of his daughter Raddix’s favorite singers.
Benji shares Raddix and 19-month-old son Cardinal with wife Cameron Diaz.
“Hayley (Williams) is a star,” Joel, 46, said after host Jack Coyne played Paramore’s “Misery Business.”
Benji, 46, then interjected, saying, “I have a daughter, and she’s[obsessed with]playing her own songs and stuff,” before Raddix added, “I love Paramore.”
Coyne asked if Raddix was a Taylor Swift fan too, and Benji admitted that he was. Unfortunately, she was unable to join Elas on tour, he said. “She was a little younger,” he explained.

Although Raddix was unable to attend the record-breaking tour, her cousin Harlow, 17, was able to get some tickets, Joel said of his teenage daughter. Joel shares 16-year-old Harlow & Sparrow with Nicole Richie.
“That was expensive, bro,” Joel said.
Benji and Diaz have kept their children out of the public eye and have revealed few details about their two children.
But the couple, who married in January 2015, have spoken out about how much they are enjoying being parents. They welcomed Raddix in December 2019 and their son in March 2024.
Shortly after Raddix’s birth, Diaz, 53, said in a July 2020 interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that having a little girl was “the best thing that ever happened to Benji and I.”

In the same interview, Diaz revealed for the first time that her daughter is a music fan, saying she plays “Baby Shark,” “Elmo Song” and “Sesame Street” “on rotation.”
“It’s crazy. We’re kind of jamming over there and she loves it,” Diaz said.
Diaz added that her daughter’s music tastes have “changed” and she is open to listening to new genres. “When we go for a drive, Benji plays Cuban or Afro-Cuban music and she’s sitting in the car seat and her little legs are flapping…and I’m like, ‘Yes, this is my girlfriend!'” Diaz said.
Also in July 2020, the actress revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that Madden had already written several songs for her daughter. “We also had ‘Baby Shark’ in the mix, and of course Benji wrote at least 12 songs for[the Raddix],” she said. “So we do some seriously upbeat stuff here, and we often jam a cappella.”
