Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor appeared at the Season 5 premiere of Stranger Things on Nov. 6. The Daily Mail reported on Nov. 1 that Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint before filming the season. Harbor was recently called out for allegedly having an affair while he was married to singer Lily Allen.
David Harbor and Millie Bobby Brown attended the season 5 premiere of Stranger Things in Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, the two actors laughed, hugged and posed for photos together on the red carpet. Brown, 21, plays Eleven on the show, while Harbor, 50, plays her adoptive father Jim Hopper.
Netflix posted a video of Brown and Harbor entering the premiere and hugging with the caption, “David Harbor and Millie Bobby Brown arrive together at the final Stranger Things premiere 🥹.”
Their public embrace follows the Daily Mail’s Nov. 1 report on Brown’s lawsuit against Haber, which is filled with “pages of accusations.”

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint before filming began last season,” a source told the Daily Mail. “The investigation continued for months.”
Representatives for Netflix, Brown and Harbor did not respond to requests for comment from PEOPLE.
The British actress, who is married to Jake Bon Jovi, reportedly had a representative on set while filming the fifth and final installment of the series.
The actors have worked closely together on set since September 2015, when season 1 began filming in Atlanta. Brown was 11 years old at the time.

In a 2016 episode of the podcast “That Scene with Dan Patrick,” Harbor opened up about the relationship he had with Brown. “Millie and I have always had a special relationship because I’ve known her since she was little. I’ve known her before she had all this fame,” he said.
In the show, the actors’ characters have a close parental relationship that is unraveled through various storylines. Season 3 of Netflix’s hit series, in particular, found Eleven and Hopper struggling with the dynamics of independence and paternal protection.
In press for an early season of filming, Harbor and Brown talked about their father-daughter dynamic off-screen. According to Refinery29, at PaleyFest in Los Angeles in 2018, Brown, who was 14 at the time, told the crowd, “We went through so many different emotions… We’re mad at each other and we’re like father and daughter.”

During the panel discussion, Brown said that the two had expressed feelings “on and off the set” and were “angry with each other.” Actress Enola Holmes added, “That scene was so raw and real that the reward was the scene.”
Since news of the lawsuit broke, past press appearances hinting at discomfort have resurfaced. An MTV interview from March 2024 has started circulating again, featuring an uncomfortable moment between Brown and the interviewer.
In the clip, Brown is asked about her wedding to Bon Jovi while the interviewer jokes about a Stranger Things-themed wedding hosted by Harbor. The actress replied “yes” before giving a confused look, which many viewers took as a moment of awkwardness or polite disagreement.

Harbor is currently embroiled in another controversy, with ex-wife Lily Allen’s new album West End Girl detailing the breakdown of their marriage. Allen, 40, accused her ex-husband of infidelity in various capacities on the 14-track album. Harbor has not mentioned the album.
In the song “Dallas Major,” Allen sings: “I know I used to be very famous / I guess I should explain how my marriage has opened up since my husband went astray.”
