Millie Bobby Brown hinted at tensions with her Stranger Things co-star David Harbor in an interview last year.
A sit-down with MTV from March 2024 has resurfaced amid reports that the actress, 21, accused her co-worker, 51, of harassment and bullying on the set of her Netflix show.
In it, the “Damsel” star talked about her wedding to Jake Bon Jovi, which will take place in two months.
The reporter joked that the wedding should have a “Stranger Things” theme, with the bride “walking down the aisle listening to music from the show.”
Ms. Brown played along, brainstorming a shaved head and a black-and-red color scheme, until the reporter said, “Harb is hosting.”
The Emmy nominee narrowed her eyes, then reluctantly answered, “Yes.”
Brown quickly agreed with an awkward laugh, saying, “I don’t know how I feel about (that), that’s for sure.”
She pitched the role to Matthew Modine, and the 66-year-old actor actually officiated at her and Bon Jovi’s May 2024 ceremony.
Modine plays Martin Brenner on the long-running series, the father who subjects Eleven, played by Brown, to experiments.
Harbor, as Jim Hopper, takes care of Brown.
The Daily Mail reported over the weekend that Brown allegedly filed a complaint against Harbor before filming the fifth and final season.
The outlet claimed on Saturday that there were “pages of accusations” and noted that Haber has not been accused of sexual misconduct. “The investigation continued for months.”
The outcome of the investigation and details of Brown’s allegations are unclear, but she is said to have filmed the series finale with a personal representative.
Filming took place from January to December 2024 and ended eight months before Brown and Bon Jovi, 23, adopted their baby girl.
Harbor’s personal life has been in the headlines this year, including his breakup with Lily Allen and accusations of cheating on her heartbreaking album West End Girl.
The “Hellboy” star, who married Allen in 2020, has yet to speak out about his estranged wife’s viral lyrics.
