Kelly Osbourne’s toddler recreated the famous moment when her late grandfather Ozzy Osbourne bit off the head of a dead bat.
Kelly’s 2-year-old son, Sidney Wilson Jr., was seen munching on the head of a stuffed toy bat in a video shared to Kelly’s TikTok on Thursday.
“Learned from a great dad!” Kelly, who shares a child with Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, captioned the video.
The fake bat head was attached to the body with Velcro, allowing a child to dig into the toy with their teeth and easily tear it apart while smiling broadly.
The blonde boy wore a creepy skeleton costume and adorable red cowboy boots to honor the Black Sabbath frontman’s memory ahead of Halloween.
In 1982, Ozzy was performing on his Diary of a Madman tour in Des Moines, Iowa, when a fan threw what appeared to be a fake rubber bat onto the stage. Ozzy picks up the bat and bites off its head, only to discover that it is actually a real, dead bat.
The “Paranoia” musician was taken to the hospital after the show and received a rabies shot as a precaution.
Several fans rushed to the comments section to respond to the Kelly kid’s sweet nod to the heavy metal icon.
“Imagine your dad is Sid Wilson from Slipknot and your grandpa is Ozzy. That’s so cute,” one person commented on the post.
“Okay, but he kinda looks like a baby Ozzy,” another person pointed out.
“Osbourne’s genes are strong ☺️✨🙏🏻,” a third person joked.
“I know he’s watching it and laughing from heaven,” said another.
One netizen added, “Prince of Darkness!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻,” referring to Ozzy’s nickname.
Ozzy passed away on July 22 at the age of 76 after battling numerous health issues over the years.
“It is with sadness that words cannot fully convey that we must announce that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning,” the family said in a statement at the time.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family at this time: Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Amy and Louis.”
Ozzy revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with stage 2 Parkinson’s disease. He was also suffering from pain from a neck injury sustained in a bad fall.
Ozzy took time off from performing due to health issues, but reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a final time in July 2025 for a farewell concert in Birmingham, England.
Kelly and Sid got engaged backstage in front of friends and family during the show, which featured performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Jack Black and more.
Their longtime friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship, and they welcomed a son together in November 2022.
