Hailey Bieber attended the Wall Street Journal Innovators Awards in New York City in a black leather look straight out of The Matrix.
The founder and CCO of Rhode Beauty, winner of the 2025 Beauty Innovator Award, signed a major industry deal in May to acquire the brand to Elf Beauty for $1 billion.
At MOMA, Bieber wore head-to-toe black leather designed by Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent, blending in with the sophisticated New York art scene.
The design choice was apt, as Vaccarello, winner of the 2022 WSJ Fashion Innovator Award, presented the trophy to Bieber.
Her look consisted of a black leather bustier with a matching pencil skirt and an oversized jacket. It has an edgy and chic look with a zipper and hardware covered belt buckle.
On her feet, she wore the same classic white slingback heels that completed her look on the Spring 2026 runway just a few weeks ago. She accessorized with a Tiffany diamond bracelet and pearl drop earrings.
This look is part of a total of 180 corset couture pieces from last week’s Academy Museum Gala.
For this event, she opted for a corseted silk moiré dress by Schiaparelli that she could barely sit in, in contrast to last night’s more flexible ensemble.
