The 70-year-old actor has given birth to son Christopher, his fourth and eighth child with wife Kate Walsh. He revealed the happy news on the October 27 episode of Daniel Fishel, Will Friedl and Rider Strong’s Pod Meets World podcast.
Talking about her memoir Karen: A Brother’s Memory, which she wrote in memory of her late sister, Grammer told the host that she and Walsh, 46, “just had our fourth child, making us eight children.”
“It was like three days ago,” he said. “Christopher, we just joined the family.”
Grammer and Walsh already have three children, daughter Faith, 12, and sons Gabriel, 10, and James, 8. Grammer is also father to daughter Spencer, 41, with his first wife Doreen Alderman. Greer, 33, is her daughter with ex-Barry Buckner. Daughter Mason (23) and son Jude (20) with ex Camille Grammer.
In June, the news Grammer and Walsh had been expecting came. The actor was photographed walking in a park with his pregnant wife in London, England.
Ms Walsh was seen walking down the street wearing glasses and a long black dress that showed off her baby bump. Glamor appeared next to her wearing sunglasses, a navy polo shirt, and white shorts.
The two were later photographed walking together in a park, with Ms Walsh carrying a tan sweater and a bag under one arm.
In May of this year, Grammer revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that he is a father of seven, and said that since the birth of his three younger children, he has been “catching up” with his older children.
“I’ve neglected some children in my life, especially my first two,” Grammer tells PEOPLE. “I’m trying to make up for it a little bit now. I’m still their father, so there’s always a chance to show up.”

The actor tries to make his children learn from his mistakes.
“Maybe I should have been a little more explicit and less tolerant of older people,” he said. “I’m pretty tolerant of young people, but it’s clear that there are certain expectations and a certain way to navigate social situations. Play it close to your best and play it straight, and you’ll get good results in life. I’m a little more specific with them about studying and being prepared. (I tell them), ‘What’s your job in life? To show up.'”
