Love is Blind star Anna Yuan has hit back at body shamers who commented on her 40-pound weight loss after season nine of the show.
“Just a reminder that it’s weird to text someone you don’t know and comment on their weight or appearance,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
“For the love of God, touch the grass!” Yuan added.
The 28-year-old reality star added that she has lost about 40 pounds since filming wrapped.
“It’s not that deep, and also you’re the weird one,” she wrote.
Ewan previously slammed fans for making negative comments about her weight after the Season 9 premiere hit the streaming platform on October 1.
“Hello friends, please remember that I am a human being. A human being who has dedicated her life to making other women beautiful,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on October 2.
“I’ve struggled with my weight since I was little. For the first time in my life, I’m proud to be healthy. I’m not a character. I’m a real person just like you. Be kind. Just love everyone,” she added.
Ewan connected with both Patrick Suzuki and Blake Anderson while dating inside the pod.
But midway through the experiment, the hairstylist withdrew from the popular Netflix dating show without telling anyone involved that she was leaving because she didn’t feel comfortable appearing on camera.
“I started to think that I might be quite vulnerable myself, and it got a little scary because this is an intimate part of my brain,” she told Netflix’s Tudum earlier this month.
“These are very sensitive topics for me. It’s not just something I’m sharing with the people I date or other women. This is being broadcast to people,” she added.
Ewan later revealed that she personally contacted Suzuki, who was her top connection on the show, to apologize.
“The only thing I was worried about was hurting Patrick with the way I exited the show, and I deeply regret that,” she wrote on her Instagram Story earlier this month.
“Since then, he and I have developed a friendship that means so much to me, and that’s what matters. I’m grateful for this experience, but this was filmed almost two years ago, and when I left, I wanted to close that chapter.”
