Aiden Turner has been cast as a guest star in season 2 of High Potential.
Turner appears in the midseason finale as Rhys, described as “a quick-witted, well-tailored art recovery specialist with the tenacity of a prosecutor and the instincts of a veteran detective. Cultural and street-savvy, Rhys navigates the murky world of stolen masterpieces.”
A first look clip of Turner in the midseason finale can be seen below. The episode will air on October 28th at 10pm ET/PT and stream the next day on Hulu.
Turner is best known for her long-running role on the popular soap opera “All My Children.” Turner is best known for playing Aidan Devane in over 500 episodes of the series from 2002 to 2009. Turner also starred in creator Tyler Perry’s soap opera “If Loving You Is Wrong.” His other credits include shows like “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “NCIS: Los Angeles” and films like “Mindcage” and “Hunting Souls.”
He is repped by NTA Talent Agency and Brave Artists Management.
Season 2 of “High Potential” started in September. Kaitlin Olson will reprise her role as Morgan. “A single mother with an extraordinary intellect whose unconventional talent for solving crimes forms an unusual and unstoppable partnership with an experienced detective (Daniel Sunjata).”
The cast also includes Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amira J as Eva, Matthew Lamb as Elliot, Steve Howie as Nick Wagner, and Judy Reyes as Selena.
The series is based on the French drama Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI). Drew Goddard developed the American version and executive produced with Sarah Esberg through Goddard Textiles. Todd Harsan will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Olson will also serve as an executive producer, along with Mark Halsey. TV number 20 is the studio.
