Kevin Federline made a number of bombshell statements in his new revealing memoir that Britney Spears repeatedly abused her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
In “You Thought You Knew,” Federline claims the pop singer once punched 20-year-old Preston in the face.
He also writes that when Preston was 10 or 11, he asked Federline why Spears kept forcing him to bathe with her.
“It was obvious he was uncomfortable, to say the least, so I had to step in and stop it,” Federline wrote.
The former backup dancer details multiple incidents of alleged alarmist behavior toward her sons, including Spears repeatedly forcing them to eat shellfish despite their allergies and ignoring the fact that Jaden has a severe allergy.
He claims that 19-year-old Jaden was also hospitalized as a child while in Spears, Louisiana, and that they told Jaden it was for allergies, but he was actually getting pills.
“I’ll never know if it was Britney’s or someone else’s,” Federline wrote.
Additionally, Spears claims that she over-parented Jaden, keeping him in diapers long after he was potty trained. After that, she frequently woke him up in the middle of the night and “dragged him to her room” to keep him company.
“This had been going on for his entire life at that point, but there was one more thing that I needed to stop interfering with,” Federline claims. “It was a pattern. She left Preston alone and pulled him into her room 24/7.
“Her imbalance of attention to them was beyond frustrating and harmful,” he continues.
Ms. Federline described one alleged incident in which she claimed that Ms. Spears broke into her home without notice while she was away. He said Spears, his wife Victoria Prince, their children and nanny were in the house when he managed to sneak past security wearing “a corset top and Daisy Dukes so short that Vic could see everything.”
“I wasn’t wearing any underwear,” he claimed of Spears’ attire at the time. “One boob hanging out of a torn shirt. A purple diaper in one hand. To Jaden. To Jaden, who hasn’t worn a diaper in over a year.”
Federline claims that while Preston hid in the basement, Spears undressed Jayden and put him in a diaper without telling her.
Federline wrote that she was worried about her sons visiting with the pop star because of her unusual behavior, including another incident in which she came home with her hair bleached.
“It’s not just striped or lightly done,” he continues to insist. “Even their scalps were bleached. Their skin was burned. I had to shave their heads, and their scalps looked like leopard prints from chemical burns.”
Federline claims that when Preston and Jayden were teenagers, she told him she didn’t want to go to Spears anymore. She also claims that she began recording incidents with the “Toxic” singer on her phone, including yelling at Preston for not wearing the shirt he wanted her to wear for an Instagram photo.
He writes that his relationship with Spears reached a breaking point after Federline and his sons moved to Hawaii. Federline claims that Preston got into an argument with his mother over the phone, and that Spears told her mother that she wished they (Preston, Jaden, and Federline) had all died.
“How could a mother say that to her son?” he asks. “Preston had dealt with her severe symptoms for years, but he took it better than I did. He understood her anger and instability, but that didn’t make it any less painful.
“Such trauma leaves scars and I fear they will carry those scars for the rest of their lives,” he continued.
He also claims in the book that Spears saw his sons sleeping “with a knife in his hand” and took cocaine while breastfeeding them.
Spears’ representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment about the abuse allegations against her sons, but she has previously fired back at the revelations.
“He and others are profiting from her,” a spokesperson told Us on Wednesday. “Sadly, this is after child support with Kevin was terminated. All she cares about is her children and their well-being in this sensational activity.”
Spears herself denounced the book in X magazine Wednesday night as a “blank lie” and called Federline’s “constant gaslighting” “extremely hurtful and exhausting.”
She continued to hit back at her ex-husband on Thursday.
“Why is he so angry…and the scary thing is, he’s vindictive,” she said of Federline’s recent on-camera interview about the memoir. “I literally freaked out when he stopped before he started crying. Are you serious?”
