Congratulations to Emily Ratajkowski. She just recently appeared in her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!
The 34-year-old model was already part of the Victoria’s Secret family when she appeared in 2023 as part of the brand’s Icon campaign. But she had never appeared on the legendary lingerie brand’s runway. At least until tonight.
And it’s a really great runway!
Ratajkowski took to the stage wearing three-dimensional orchids that served as the brand’s signature “wings.” The crystal-embellished petals blend perfectly with her pale purple bra and underwear set. Matching opera-length gloves and show-stopping above-the-knee lace-up heels added drama.
Technically, this was her first live runway show, but the 5-foot-7 model marched down the grand catwalk like a true veteran and didn’t seem fazed in the least for a first-timer.
She joins Victoria’s Secret veterans Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Paloma Elsesser and Candice Swanepoel.
As a rookie, she was in good company with WNBA stars Angel Reese, Amelia Gray Hamlin, and Iris Law.
In 2023, Ratajkowski told POPSUGAR, “I grew up looking at photos of Gisele, Candace, Naomi, and Adriana, so it’s really surreal to be working on a campaign next to them,” adding, “Those women are the ones who made me feel like they’re the best. They were – and in many ways still are – iconic, for their beauty and the images they created with their amazing photographers, designers and teams.” Artistic. They express so many things. ”
Now that he finally has wings, that feeling will only get stronger.
