Angel Reese made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway debut tonight in New York City. The Chicago Sky forward became one of the first professional athletes to take part in the show’s revival. Reese walked the runway in two pink looks, including a lingerie set decorated with flowers.
Angel Reese’s dream of earning wings came true tonight. The Chicago Sky forward made his runway debut at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City. She also made history as one of the first professional athletes to compete in this event.
Reese joined the show’s lineup, which included Alex Consani, Adriana Lima and Gigi Hadid, who walked the runway wearing two pink lingerie sets.
Her first look was more sensual, featuring a cut-out T-shirt and pink lace with transparent angel wings.
Meanwhile, her second look was a dreamy pink look adorned with flowers, which she wore with a matching wrap.
Earlier this month, Reese announced her participation for the first time on Instagram, writing, “Stepping into a dream: From angel to Victoria’s Secret angel. I’ve finally grown my wings 🪽 I’ll be walking the Victoria’s Secret 2025 Runway show for the first time and it feels like destiny. ✨ Wings on, heels and ready… Catch me on the runway 💗 @victoriassecret.”
Reese was a guest at last year’s show and posted afterward, “I’m going to be a Victoria’s Secret model someday.” Tonight, she made good on that promise.
In an interview with Vogue ahead of the show, Reese called the moment “full circle.”
“I always watched the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and always dreamed that one day I might be a model,” she said. “There’s a video of me dancing in Victoria’s Secret sweatpants and a hoodie when I was younger. That was a full-circle moment for me.”
Reese also cited supermodels Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell and Lima as inspirations for her walk. “Tyla is a little more bouncy, but Naomi is more intense,” she said. “I’m not copying the exact way they walk, but the gestures and mannerisms, the little things like a little smile.”
Her appearance in the fashion show capped off an outstanding year on and off the court. Reese became the fastest WNBA player to reach 600 points and 600 rebounds, and also released Reebok’s signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1. “My personality is that I can be unapologetic, and that’s what I see in my shoes. I’m unapologetic,” she told ELLE last month.
