“90 Day Fiancé” star Tyce Ramone has called off domestic charging following her shocking breakup with Patrick Mendes.
According to court records, Ramone, 29, was arrested on domestic assault charges in Nevada on May 22, the same day news broke that Mendes, 36, had filed for divorce from his girlfriend after four years of marriage.
However, TMZ reported on Tuesday that battery charging was stopped on May 24th. A representative for the reality star told Page Six in a statement that he is currently focused on personally moving forward and taking care of his family during an “emotionally difficult time.”
“While the misdemeanor charges were filed following a personal dispute between family members, the matter was reviewed by the district attorney and ultimately the charges were dropped. We believe this outcome speaks for itself,” said Dominic Enchington, Ramone’s attorney.
“As with many deeply personal family and relationship situations, there are always complex issues that are not fully understood by the public,” her rep continued. “However, Thais have chosen not to engage in public interactions or engage in online speculation.”
Her rep added, “Those who know her personally know that she is a devoted mother, a woman who values her family, and above all, a person of peace, stability, and thoughtfulness. At this time, she is focused on her daughter and her family and continues to move forward with grace and dignity.”
Judging by social media, Ramone seems to be making good progress with his breakup with Mendes. On Monday, she posted a photo of herself and Mendes’ 3-year-old daughter Alysi on Instagram.
In most of the photos, she is happily posing, but in one snap, she appears to have teary eyes.
“Recently ❤️🙌,” she wrote about her photo. “Thank you everyone for all the love and support! I love you all!”
She also showed off her toned physique in a matching bright red sports bra and leggings on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“I love working out,” she wrote.
In Mendes’ divorce papers obtained by TMZ, Mendes is seeking sole legal and physical custody of Alisi, claiming that they have been living together since May 6th at a separate address from the couple’s shared residence.
He is not seeking spousal or child support, but
Mendes and Ramone made their 90 Day Fiancé debut in Season 9 in 2022, which documented Ramone moving from Brazil to Nevada via the United States to be with Mendes. The two also appeared on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, which continued to have their ups and downs even after their marriage.
They will also appear in the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, which follows a couple’s journey through therapy.
