Armando Niedermayer Rubio’s visa was extended while his daughter Hannah was hospitalized.
“Approved ✅,” the “90 Day Fiancé” star announced on Instagram on Sunday. “My humanitarian visa has been extended for another 30 days!
“This means I can continue to stay in Arizona with Hannah while she still receives the treatment she needs. And most importantly, for at least the next month, I can be with[husband]Kenny[Niedermayer]by her side as she recovers 🙏🏻,” he continued.
Armando went on to express his “deep gratitude and gratitude” to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) @cbpgov for “compassionately considering[his]case” and treating him with “kindness and respect” over the weekend.
Armando gave a “special thanks” to Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, who has “advocated more than ever…” on his behalf, before giving a shout-out to immigration lawyers.
“Thank you for working tirelessly every step of the way, especially as this process continues,” he wrote. “Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who prayed for @hannah_rubio_, shared our stories, sent messages of encouragement, and supported our family.”
The 37-year-old reality star concluded, “Your love got us through the most difficult days of our lives. This acknowledgment to stay by our daughter’s side is another answered prayer. Thank you ❤️🩹 Please keep Hannah in your prayers as she continues to heal.”
Earlier this month, Armando was turned away at the border when Hanna was flown from Mexico to a medical facility in Arizona for treatment of a brain hemorrhage and then airlifted to an intensive care unit in Phoenix.
When he tried to apply for a temporary humanitarian visa, he was told by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection inspector that those visas had not been granted since 2025.
Armando’s partner remained by the boy’s side while Armando’s lawyer proceeded with another emergency request.
“Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, but not being able to hold their child’s hand or comfort them is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced,” Armando wrote. “I’m doing everything I can to reunite with her.”
He was reunited with his family on July 18 after being granted an emergency humanitarian visa.
Two days later, he announced that Hannah had been discharged from the hospital, but she would be readmitted to the hospital due to “worsening physical symptoms.”
Specifically, she experienced partial blindness, drooping of the face, and weakness.
Hannah, who is on medication to prevent brain swelling and seizures, said she is “doing well” despite being rushed to the emergency room.
“Doctors are conducting tests and scans and will know more soon,” Armando wrote via Instagram on Friday.
