The second episode of “Euphoria” Season 3 drew 8.5 million viewers on HBO and HBO Max in its first three days, matching the viewership of the season premiere.
Statistics for both episodes are measured by Warner Bros. Discovery and refer to viewership in the United States only. WBD notes that Sunday’s episode outperformed the second episode of season 2 by 32%. It reached 6.4 million viewers in three days. The show is scheduled to air in 2022, and since then, the popularity of “Euphoria” stars such as Zendaya, Sidney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi has skyrocketed, and the number of viewers is expected to increase.
To date, the Season 3 premiere has seen viewership jump from 8.5 million viewers in the first three days to more than 12.3 million viewers in the United States. Global viewership exceeded 20 million viewers, a 68% increase over the worldwide viewership that the Season 2 premiere achieved in the same amount of time.
WBD notes that season 3 of “Euphoria” is one of the most-watched HBO reruns in the history of HBO Max as a platform, but no exact measure of that performance was provided. “Euphoria” has been the No. 1 series on HBO Max worldwide since its third season premiered.
In addition to Zendaya, Sweeney, and Elordi, Euphoria also stars Alexa Demme, Maud Apatow, Hunter Schaefer, Colma Domingo, Eric Dane, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaye, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Toby Wallace, and more.
