One chef has gone missing at this year’s Emmy Awards.
Jeremy Allen White did not attend the LA ceremony at the Peacock Theatre on Sunday night.
The “Bear” star was nominated for an outstanding lead actor in the comedy series for his role as Kermy on the hit FX show, and has won a massive victory in the past for his portrayal of a talented but tormented chef.
He has won the category for the past two years in a row, and this year he faced Adam Brody (“No one wants this”), Seth Rogen (“Studio”), Jason Segel (“Shrink”) and Martin Short (“Building Murder Only”). Rogen, 43, took the victory home.
In an emotional acceptance speech last year, the “shameless” alumni said his heart was “just slap the outside of his chest.”
He also cried out “Bear” co-stars, including Ayo Edebili and Ebon Moss Bachalach.
“We want to be in each other’s lives forever,” said White, 34, at the time. “This show has changed my life. I have set up a faith that change is possible and that if you can reach out, change is possible. You are truly, really not alone. I am grateful for this show.”
The “Iron Claw” actor once again thanked “everyone who stayed close to me” when he won his first Emmy Award during the 75th Emmy Awards in January 2024.
“Thank you for believing in me when I struggled to believe in myself,” he said at the time.
White’s then-wife Addison Timlin had filed for divorce just eight months ago. The former couple shares Dolores with their daughter, Ezel.
However, this is not the first time White has missed a big awards show as White was markedly absent from the 2025 Golden Globes in January.
It was later revealed that the actor was on the other side of the country filming his upcoming Bruce Springsteen “Delivery Me Out of Nowhere” and was unable to make a trip to the West Coast.
However, White defeated Brody, Siegel, Short, Steve Martin and Ted Danson, despite not yet attending.
Meanwhile, “Bear” is a 21-time Emmy Award winner, and this year has earned 13 impressive nominations, including an outstanding comedy series.
In addition to White, other stars on Golden Statuette’s exhibition include Edebili and Mossbachalach, Lizakornzayas, John Bernsal, Jamie Lee Curtis and Olivia Colman.
