Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly “furious” over including his parents David and Victoria Beckham in his Father’s Day Instagram post.
David and Victoria extended an olive branch to their eldest son on Sunday amid a bitter family feud, sharing throwback photos of Brooklyn and talking about their “beautiful” family.
Victoria posted a snap of all four of her children – Brooklyn, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14 – posing with their father. Meanwhile, David shared a black and white childhood photo of all of his children, with Brooklyn holding baby Harper in his arms, as well as individual portraits of each child.
But Brooklyn, 27, was “absolutely furious” at the public behavior, as she had previously asked people not to tag her in social media posts, Britain’s Sun newspaper reported on Monday.
“He’s upset about it,” a source told the publication. “He asked them to leave him alone and they just keep posting about him.”
“It just starts everything back to square one again,” the source continued. “He just wants them to leave it alone and leave him alone.”
Page Six reached out to Brooklyn’s representatives but did not receive a response.
Victoria praised her husband as “the best dad” in a Father’s Day post.
“Your greatest accomplishment will always be our beautiful children and we love you so much,” she wrote.
The soccer legend thanked his wife in a Father’s Day post, writing, “Being a father is my most important job… I love you all and thank you mama @victoriabeckham for giving us a beautiful family 🩷.”
Brooklyn slammed his parents on Instagram in January, accusing them of trying to destroy his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz. Since then, the conflict has further escalated.
Brooklyn claimed that a photo of Harper, obtained exclusively by Page Six, of her attempting to reunite with Harper at her Los Angeles mansion last week was staged. Harper failed because Brooklyn was in New York City at the time.
A representative for Brooklyn and Peltz told Page Six: “The fact that there was a cameraman on the scene when the letter was handed out says it all. This was staged for the cameras.”
But a source told Page Six that the situation is “taking a toll on the whole family and Victoria is heartbroken for her children.”
“Victoria and David knew Harper was going to their Brooklyn home,” the source said. “The children have had nannies and security guards ever since they were born and have traveled alone many times, so there was nothing unusual for her to go there (without her parents).”
