“Wednesday” Season 3 is officially in production, and the show is adding four new cast members.

Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride), Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones), Oscar Morgan (Knights of the Seven Kingdoms, Gotham Knights) and Kennedy Moyer (Tusk, The Roofman) are set to appear in Season 3 of the hit show. This new cast was announced shortly after Winona Ryder was reported to be guest starring in season 3, and it was previously reported that Eva Green would play Morticia Addams’ sister.

Taylor previously worked with Tim Burton, director and executive producer of Wednesday, on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sarandon voiced Jack Skellington in Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Series creators and showrunners Al Goff and Miles Miller said, “It is with great dark joy that we once again open the doors to Nevermore Academy as we begin production on Season 3.” “We thank our invincible cast and crew for continuing to work on Doom and Gloom. To our fans, thank you for your patience and passionate online comments. Your twisted theories have created a nightmare. This season, we welcome new students, new teachers, and unearth long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”

Like previous seasons, the third season is being filmed in Dublin, Ireland. Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday Addams. Viewers last saw him on horseback with his uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) trying to rescue his friend and roommate Enid (Emma Myers) from being trapped as an alpha werewolf.

Burton said: “I’m so excited to be back for Season 3 and it’s great to be reunited with the entire original cast.” “The addition of dear friends and past collaborators like Winona, Ava, Chris, and Noah makes this season even more special. I feel so lucky.”

In addition to Ortega, Myers and Armisen, the cast of “Wednesday” includes Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moussa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Ruiz-Nyawo, Victor Dorobantu, Evie Templeton, Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Joanna Lumley.

This show is based on characters created by Charles Addams. Goff, Miller and Burton will all serve as executive producers. The studio is MGM Television.

“Wednesday” Season 2 was released in two parts in August and September 2025. Like season one, the second was also a huge hit for Netflix, currently ranking as the fifth most-watched English season on Netflix. Season 1 is the most watched season to date.
