Savannah Guthrie returned to Studio 1A on Thursday for the first time since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared.

“Savannah stopped by the studio this morning to thank her colleagues today,” a spokesperson confirmed to Page Six. “She plans to return to the show while it’s on the air, but right now she’s focused on supporting her family and bringing Nancy home.”

A representative revealed that there are no plans for Savannah to air at this time.

TMZ has obtained photos of the “Today” show co-anchor visiting the NBC set for the first time in more than a month.

The 54-year-old appeared visibly emotional while speaking to colleagues at a New York City studio on Thursday.

Jenna Bush Hager teared up while discussing the reunion, telling viewers, “She said she’s going to come back to the show. Even though it feels like the hardest thing to do, it’s her home and it’s a place where she feels so loved.”

“Whenever (she) is ready, I’ll be here,” Shinelle Jones chimed in.

Savannah has not appeared on the morning show since Nancy, 84, disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on January 31st.

Page Six reported in February that the reporter would not appear on the “Today” show “for the foreseeable future.”

NBC officials said last month that “the entire program and network is standing together in support of our beloved colleagues and friends” during the “unimaginable” crisis.

“Everyone at ‘Today’ is taking this situation day by day and is of course giving Savannah the grace, time and support she needs,” another source said at the time.

Hoda Kotb left the network in January 2025, but returned to the show in the absence of her former co-host.

We hear the 61-year-old will remain in Savannah’s seat for an extended period of time as the frantic search for Nancy continues.

In Savannah’s latest Instagram plea to her mother’s kidnappers, she acknowledged that Nancy may be “already gone.”

Savannah added: “If this is real, we’re going to accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”
