The bride is coming…to Midtown!
According to multiple sources, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will be held at Madison Square Garden, home of the Knicks and Rangers and host to numerous concerts, including Swift’s.
“Everyone has been sworn to secrecy,” one source said.
Representatives for MSG did not respond to requests for comment.
Page Six previously exclusively reported that the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, are planning to wed in New York over the weekend of July 3rd.
“Privacy was a top priority for the couple” when choosing a location for the high-profile event, a source said.
The official added that potential plans include transporting guests to the venue in blacked-out buses and utilizing MSG’s multiple entrances and high-security infrastructure.
While it may seem odd for a ceremony, one source said, “For billions, you can turn the space into a wedding venue.”
Most likely, there will be no events at this venue from June 29th to July 6th.
Perhaps some of Swift’s famous friends (calling the Haim sisters) will sing during the ceremony?
Swift has performed at Madison Square Garden eight times: once on her 2009 “Fearless” tour, twice on “Speak Now” and four times at Z100 Jingle Ball.
But her decision to get married at MSG, where she appeared with Kelce wearing a Cavaliers cap at Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland on May 23, may raise some eyebrows among die-hard Knicks fans.
Karlie Kloss, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez are among the stars who have reportedly received invitations to the upcoming wedding.
Are you not on the invitation list? Miles Teller and his wife, Kelly Sperry, were scorned because of their apparent rift, Page Six recently confirmed.
The “Lover” singer and Kelce were spotted several times in the city last month, dining at spots like Oles and Via Carota. Speculation was that the megastars were in town to oversee preparations for the big day.
Security is expected to be tight in the city over the Independence Day weekend.
New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch spoke earlier this week about the security needed in New York City for a number of events over the weekend, including July 4th and American 250th anniversary celebrations such as Sail 4th, which sees ships sail through the harbor to salute the Statue of Liberty. MetLife Stadium will also host the NBA Finals and World Cup games that Sunday.
“And potentially Taylor Swift’s wedding,” she said. Tish quickly added, “Just kidding.”
Swift has close ties to the Big Apple.
She moved into two adjoining penthouses in Tribeca in 2014 and converted them into one large duplex. From there, she bought a townhouse next door and a 3,500-square-foot loft in the same building.
She rented a space on Cornelia Street in 2016 while the Tribeca spot was being renovated. The song of the same name is included in the 2019 album “Lover”.
In 2014, she wrote the song “Welcome to New York” as an ode to New York. Swift served as New York City’s Global Welcome Ambassador from 2014 to 2015, and the song was used to promote New York City tourism.
The couple, who got engaged in August 2025, join a number of celebrities who have married in the city, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, and Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.
