‘Storage Wars’ star Mary Padian has mourned the loss of former castmate Darrell Sheets following his shocking death.
“Some people become part of a chapter in their lives they will never forget,” Padian, 45, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
“I’m going to miss Darrell,” she added.
The former reality star shared a smiling selfie of herself, a sheet and another man at a restaurant.
Mr. Sheets’ “Storage Wars” rival Brandi Passante also paid an emotional tribute on social media, saying she had known him for years and was “speechless.”
“I am so sorry to hear about the circumstances of his passing,” added Passante, also 45.
As Page Six previously reported, police responded to a report of a deceased person at Sheets’ home on Wednesday.
Lake Havasu, Arizona, police said in a press release that the A&E star died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was 67 years old.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Lake Havasu Police Department Criminal Investigation Division was alerted and responded to the scene to begin an investigation,” the press release states.
The cause of Sheets’ death is unknown, but “Storage Wars” star Rene Nezoda said in an Instagram video that she believes she was being cyberbullied before taking her own life.
“He’s been having trouble lately with a guy who was really, really tormenting him and cyberbullying (him),” Nejoda, 49, said.
“Darrell has posted a lot about a man who was cyberbullying and tormenting him. I sincerely hope (law enforcement) investigates that man, but that’s not a free pass,” he added.
“Just because you see us on TV doesn’t mean you know who we are. It doesn’t mean you know what we’re about.”
Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, the department’s public information officer, told Page Six on Wednesday: “We are aware of the cyberbullying accusation and it is part of an active investigation.”
Sheets was last photographed walking her dog in the last photo she shared on Facebook on February 6th.
