Saturday Night Live UK has announced the hosts for the final two episodes of its first season, Hannah Waddingham and Ncuti Gatwa.
Waddingham, known for his roles in Ted Lasso and Ride or Die, will host the May 9 edition, which will feature musical guest BRIT Award winner Miles Smith.
Gatwa, whose credits include Doctor Who, Sex Education and Barbie, will headline the May 16th episode alongside indie pop singer Holly Humberstone.
The next episode of the sketch show will be hosted by ‘White Lotus’ star Amy Lou Wood and feature musical guest British singer Meek. Previous hosts and musical performances include Nicola Coughlan of the Foo Fighters, Jack Whitehall of Jorja Smith, Riz Ahmed of Kasabian, Jamie Dornan of Wolf Alice and Tina Fey of Wet Legs.
“SNL UK” has just two episodes left in its first season, which was extended from six to eight episodes ahead of its premiere. The show has not yet been renewed for a second season.
SNL UK will feature rotating hosts each week, as well as Hamed Animashaun, Ayoade Bumboy, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Mariano, Annabelle Marlowe, Al Nash, Jack Shepp, Emma Siddy and Paddy Young.
‘SNL UK’ is produced by the UK production team at Universal Television Alternative Studios and Broadway Video at Sky and NOW. Lorne Michaels will serve as executive producer, James Longman will serve as lead producer, Liz Clare will direct, and Darran Jono Johnson will serve as head writer.
‘SNL UK’ will be broadcast live on Sky and streaming service NOW, and will also be available on Peacock in the US the following day
