Duchess Kate continued her trip to Italy on May 14th, visiting children’s and agricultural centers as part of her solo tour of Italy. During the day, she wore a Blaze Milano pinstripe blazer and Jenny Kane skirt, and the day before she wore a bold blue pantsuit by Edeline Lee.
Duchess Kate’s solo tour of Italy continues. After making a bold statement on her first day of tour with a bright blue pantsuit by Canadian-British designer Edeline Lee, the Princess of Wales opted for a breezy look with a more neutral color palette for her second day of engagement.
On May 14, when the Duchess of Cambridge visited farm stay Agriturismo al Viñeto, Salvador Allende Scuola d’Erinfanzia nursery school and Remida creative resource center in Reggio Emilia, the Duchess wore a Blasé Milano taupe blazer with white pinstripes, an ivory pleated midi skirt by Jenny Kane, and a cream scoop-neck top.
She accessorized with Kiki McDonough green amethyst and diamond earrings, a matching pendant necklace, a brown suede blazed Milano belt, and Camila Elphic slingback taupe and black heels.
This is the second look at Kate’s trip. On May 13, she accessorized an Edeline Lee suit with a white V-neck top and a pale blue Asprey London 167 mini handbag.
This is Duchess Kate’s first overseas trip since going into remission from cancer in 2025, and is “part of a high-level fact-finding mission to explore progressive international approaches to supporting young children and their carers,” the palace said in a statement. Duchess Kate’s trip to Reggio Emilia is a “powerful starting point” in her mission to improve the education and care of children around the world.
Additionally, this is also a huge personal milestone for Kate. “[This visit]is an important step in the Princess’s recovery journey. The Queen is taking great pleasure in this work,” a royal aide told People on May 12 ahead of her arrival. “It makes sense that her first international trip since getting sick would focus on the real issues she wants to spotlight and that she intends to champion for decades to come.”
The aide added: “This is a big moment for the princess.”
