‘Survivor’ Season 50 stars Charlie Davis and Camila Kartiguez are checking in to ‘White Lotus’ Season 4.
Mike White revealed during Wednesday’s “Survivor 50” finale that two of his fellow contestants will appear on the upcoming season of his HBO series.
“Everyone is invited, but there are two contestants who are jumping in to be on the show, and that’s Charlie and Camila,” White, 58, told Jeff Probst via video call from France, where he is currently filming season four.
The camera then cut to footage of Davis, 28, and Carteguez, 32, cheering backstage.
The pair also filmed a TikTok speaking in French during the finale, with Davis joking, “I hope I get to practice my French. Thanks Mike, I’m so excited!”
“I can’t wait to see you again!” added Cartiguez.
White, Davis, and Kartiges were all part of the same former tribe on “Survivor 50.” All three were voted without prejudice.
Davis exclusively told Page Six in March that he developed a close bond with White in Fiji.
“Mike, Go Figure is interesting,” Davis said.
During his final virtual appearance, White told host Jeff Probst that he wrote the next season of “White Lotus” after being voted out of “Survivor 50.”
“No one knew where I was. I didn’t have a phone,” White said. “So being able to write Season 4 of ‘White Lotus’ was a gift in itself.”
“Survivor 50” contestant Ozzie Russ told Page Six last month that he thought he ruined his chances of appearing on “The White Lotus” by not heeding White’s strategic advice.
“I think the chances of me riding the ‘White Lotus’ are pretty slim. To be honest, it wasn’t that big of a deal,” Luz said.
The 44-year-old added: “I would love to be in it because I think it would be fun. And Mike White is such a genius and I love his work.”
“The White Lotus” has featured cameos from “Survivor” players every season.
Alec Merlino appeared in season 1, Angelina Keeley and Carla Kay appeared in season 2, and Christian Hubicki, Karl Boudreau, and Natalie Cole made cameos in season 3.
HBO has announced that Season 4 of The White Lotus will take place during the Cannes Film Festival on the Cote d’Azur. Filming began in April.
The star-studded cast includes Laura Dern, Rosie Perez, Max Greenfield, Kumail Nanjiani, Chloe Bennet, Heather Graham, Steve Coogan, AJ Michalka, and Sandra Bernhardt.
Helena Bonham Carter was originally included in the cast, but dropped out due to reported “creative differences” with White. Dern took her place.
