Sunday’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé” featured the aftermath of Mido and Debbie’s surprising fight, which Mido somehow twisted to make it all her fault.
Producers previously intervened after Debbie, 55, got into a heated argument over her behavior while meeting friends, cursing Mido and forcing her out of her car. Mido, 41, remained indifferent the entire time he was supposed to be celebrating Halloween with his close friends, rudely telling them he didn’t care what they thought of him.
The argument escalated when Debbie’s friend Astra got into a public shouting match with Debbie over the way he treated her.
Despite Mido’s poor behavior, Debbie said on Sunday’s episode that she was the one who completely ignored Mido for weeks after the fight. She takes him to the lake and tells him about their fight, but he refuses to take any responsibility for himself.
Debbie told the camera about Mido’s closed-off attitude, “I’m just dealing with someone who is emotionally very immature in some ways.”
Mido said that since he left Egypt and his family to be with Debbie, he deserved better. When Debbie said she loved him, he quickly became irritated and had the audacity to tell her to stop saying that.
“I don’t always say, ‘I love you. I need you,'” he scoffed at her. “no.”
When Debbie insists that she knows she loves him even if she doesn’t say it, Debbie teases her again, sarcastically replying, “That’s great. That’s great.”
Mido tells Debbie that if she doesn’t want her to return to Egypt, it’s up to her to resolve the situation.
Debbie said, “Mido turns everything over to me and won’t even take responsibility on his part. It’s very frustrating.”
“Everything has been about him since he came here,” she added, saying that Mido was more focused on trying to become a movie star in America than on his relationship with her. “But love requires compromise, and he’s been single for a long time, and I’m starting to understand why.”
Mido’s frosty demeanor continued when Debbie’s daughter, Devin, entered the room and commented on the tense atmosphere. He quickly shuts her up and tells her that she needs to “get some rest” as he examines her mug shot.
Devin and Debbie go out to get manicures and pedicures for some alone time, but Devin tells his mother that he has serious concerns about his relationship with Mi-do. Debbie claimed that she didn’t want to throw away her six-year relationship with Mido “on a whim,” but Debbie pointed out that there had been problems between them for several months.
Debbie responded that she needed time, but pointed out that it wasn’t a luxury because Debbie would have to get married within 90 days to stay in the United States. Debbie said she needed to tell Mido that she loved him and have him formally propose. Mido hasn’t done these two things yet.
She admitted on camera that she didn’t even know if Mi-do loved her, but insisted she wasn’t at the point where she needed to break up with him yet.
But she admitted she was “at a loss about everything.”
