Mariska Hargitay arrived at Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night after a daytime and evening performance of “Every Brilliant Thing” at the nearby Hudson Theater.
At first, she was seen wearing a black shirt, but quickly changed into a customized orange and blue T-shirt that read “Stevie Nicks.” This was clearly a gift from Taylor Swift, who wore matching T-shirts with Alana and Este Haim. In an interview with Vogue, Alana explained that the shirt was her idea and that Swift asked for additional items to give to friends.
Hargitay, a regular at Knicks games, was seen celebrating the team’s come-from-behind victory by hugging Swift and Jalen Brunson. “I want everyone to throw out every leadership book they own and replace it with a picture of Jalen,” Hargitay told me in an exclusive statement Thursday. “We have a lot to learn from his brand of strength. And it’s not just his own strength, when he plays, the hearts of his whole family beat inside him.”
“And I feel so lucky, so honored, so grateful. When people talk about that game in the future, which will be forever, I can say, ‘I was there.'” She continued. “Words cannot express how much I love, respect and value this Knicks team!!”
Game 5 of the NBA Finals will be held on June 13th at 5:30pm PT/8:30pm ET. It will be broadcast live on ABC from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
