Following the ongoing “Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert,” Paramount has set up a similar tour to coincide with the 15th anniversary of “The Legend of Korra.”
Produced in partnership with GEA Live and Senbla, “The Legend of Korra In Concert” will begin with two simultaneous performances in January and tour more than 20 cities in the United States and 10 cities in Europe. The show, which Paramount describes as “a live-to-picture orchestral experience that combines live music and cinematic images,” will feature key scenes from The Legend of Korra chronologically projected in high definition, backed by a symphony drawn from composer Jeremy Zucker’s score, and limited merchandise will also be available for purchase at the tour venue.
“The Legend of Korra” first aired on Nickelodeon in 2012 as a sequel to 2005’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” which had a hugely successful concert tour. Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert began in 2024 with sold-out performances in London, Paris, New York and San Francisco, and has since expanded to 100 cities across North America, Europe and Asia. In 2025, Paramount, GEA Live and Cebra redouble their efforts with Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert – 20th Anniversary Tour, now playing in 80 cities and featuring new features. In total, more than 500,000 tickets were sold for The Last Airbender tour.
The news of “The Legend of Korra in Concert” comes as Paramount reboots the “Last Airbender” IP on-screen with “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender,” which debuts on Paramount+ on July 25. In 2027, Avatar Studios plans to release its first series, Avatar: Seven Heavens.
“The music for The Legend of Korra explores a very different emotional and musical landscape than Avatar: The Last Airbender, blending orchestral, jazz and electronic influences to reflect the more contemporary world of Korra,” Zuckerman said in a statement. “Hearing that score live brings a new level of energy to the music and allows the audience to experience the story in a completely different way.”
