John Legend was the perfect gentleman when his wife Chrissy Teigen suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the 2026 American Music Awards.
The couple attended the annual awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Monday, and Teigen looked stunning in a floor-length beaded orange dress, which she paired with gold heels. But while posing for a photo on the blue carpet, the model’s heel got caught in the hem of her dress, forcing her to pause.
Legend bent down to help untangle the dress, and a woman stepped in to help. But the damage was done when a few beads fell off the delicate gown and spilled onto the carpet.
Teigen laughed off the wardrobe malfunction and still posed for a few more photos with the legend, who turned heads in a tan trench coat and matching high-waisted pants.
Teigen and Legend, who married in September 2013, are known for their playful marriage. In an Instagram Story on Monday, she joked that she wanted to go see “Magic Mike Live” while in Las Vegas.
“After the performance, do you want to go to ‘Magic Mike’ or something?” she asked the “All of Me” singer, lying on her bed and laughing.
She then asked him if he knew where the show was going yet, before tweeting to the camera, “So, I guess we should go see ‘Magic Mike.'”
Teigen, 40, revealed a surprising secret about her 12-year marriage to Legend in January.
“As far as he knows, I’ve never farted or pooped,” she told E! news.
“You have to stay sexy and stay sexy in little ways,” she explained. “I’m not saying John necessarily does it all the time, but I try to do it.”
The couple have four children, Luna, 9, Miles, 7, and Estee and Wren, 2.
The 47-year-old legend candidly revealed during an appearance on Call Her Daddy in March 2023 that he maintains his sex life with his wife by locking the kids out of the room.
He also called his wife’s sense of humor her “most charming” quality.
“It may be obvious, but she always makes me laugh. I think just having people around you who make you laugh can change the world,” Legend said.
“Even when you’re going through the worst of things…if[your partner]has a sense of humor, it just makes life better, and it really does,” he added.
